Ayurvedic Ways of Cooking RicePosted by Gowthaman Krishnamoorthy on Monday, November 16, 2009
Preparing the food in traditional ways makes the product healthier and easy for digestion. Modern day cooking gears, unfortunately, keep the unwanted materials in the food which in turn spoils the health of every person. For example, before the pressure cookers were introduced the traditional method of cooking rice involved removing the extra water after the rice is cooked properly, which in turn removed the extra and unwanted carbohydrates from the rice.
